It’s getting near to Christmas, and we are picturing the ideal Christmas scene: it’s snowing outside as the children are making snow angels and snow people, the adults are indoors busy preparing the dinner, the log fire is burning, lights and decorations twinkle, Christmas tunes are playing, and all the family are together.
This year we’ve gone a little more traditional with our festive recipe but with a few little tweaks. We present to you our OrchardWorld Roast Turkey with Cherry Glaze and roasted Clementine Roots. Recipe below...
Serves 8 | Prep/Cooking Time 90 mins
INGREDIENTS
3 OrchardWorld Seedless Mini Easy Peelers (sliced into wedges)
4 medium carrots
2 medium parsnips
400g red onions
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
METHOD
Chop the Easy Peelers (with skin on) into quarters
Peel the carrots and parsnips and cut them in half lengthways
Peel and half the red onions
Mix the Olive Oil and mustard together in a bowl and add all the root veg. Mix well to cover the vegetables.
Pop onto a baking tray and cook for 1hr in the oven at 190°c
