ORCHARDWORLD - ‘WIN AN OVERNIGHT STAY AND HARVEST/BLOSSOM TOUR’ COMPETITION.

ORCHARDWORLD ‘Win an overnight stay for 2 at ‘Stoke by Nayland’ Lodges Penthouse plus either a Cherry Blossom, Apple Blossom, Cherry Harvest or Apple Harvest Tour for 2022, including light refreshments upon arrival and afternoon tea for you and a guest’.

You can enter the OrchardWorld ‘Win an overnight stay for 2 at ‘Stoke by Nayland’ Lodges Penthouse plus either a Cherry Blossom, Apple Blossom, Cherry Harvest or Apple Harvest Tour complete with light refreshments upon arrival and afternoon tea competition’ (the “Promotion”) by entering your details on the entry form.

 

THE PROMOTER

The Promoter of this Promotion is OrchardWorld LTD, 790 The Crescent, Colchester, C04 9YQ (the “Promoter”). The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

 

ENTRY ELIGIBILITY

  • The Promotion is only open to residents of Great Britain aged 18 or over. Participation in the Promotion will require internet access.

  • Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of their group companies, or their families or households or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion are not eligible to enter

HOW TO ENTER & THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

  • Entries will begin from 25th November 2021 at 09:00hrs when the ‘Ocado Life’ Magazine December 2021 edition goes into circulation to shoppers who have requested a free copy. Subject to availability. The URL will also be available via our Instagram and Facebook platforms from ‘January 4th, 2022, at 09:00hrs

  • This Promotion is only available to individual consumers (e.g., not to any business or reseller). If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries or votes will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void.

  • No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed, or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of entries.

  • The closing date for entries is midnight Monday 28th February 2022, based on both Ocado Life or Social Media platforms. Entries received after the closing date will not be eligible for the Promotion.

  • Ocado Life Magazines are available upon request of the shopper at the time of ordering groceries online from Ocado.com only. Within the magazine you will find a ‘Full Page’ advertorial about ‘How well do you know your fruit’. Amongst the body text there is a purple flash that advertises the promotion together with a URL to enter the competition.  Or simply go on to our Instagram posts or Facebook pages (using above links) which will have the URL so that you can enter. You must complete all mandatory fields. To submit your entry, click the “Submit” button.

 

THE WINNERS AND PRIZE

The main prize will consist of 4 places available, 1 for each of the following tours, together with the option of bringing a guest and will include the following:

  • A 1-night mid week* stay for two at ‘Stoke by Nayland’ lodges penthouse with full English breakfast and selection of drinks**.

  • Choose either Cherry Blossom Tour (takes place around May 2022)***, Apple Blossom Tour (takes place around April/May 2022), Cherry Harvest Tour (takes place around July 2022), Apple Harvest tour (takes place around September 2022). Light refreshments**** upon arrival. Collection and transport from ‘Stoke by Nayland Golf and Spa- CO6 4PZ’ to the said orchards. A guided tour around the orchards during the blossom or harvest season, together with a tour of the AD Plant, approximately lasting 3 to 3.5hours. Then transport back to the Stoke by Nayland Golf and Spa for an ‘Afternoon Tea’ served to you and your guest. Free giveaway packs including some OrchardWorld samples will be given out upon leaving (Subject to availability and seasonality). Plenty of free parking available.

    *Midweek stay ONLY coincide with the dates associated to and released for the tours, either the night before or the night of the event.
    ** Breakfast is served as one Full English Breakfast per guest and a selection of hot and cold beverages.
    ***Dates will be listed to the winners nearer the time, as they will be determined by British weather for best optimal visit time.
    **** Light refreshments upon arrival will compromise of a selection of hot and cold beverages at OrchardWorld’s discretion. Afternoon tea will be served with a selection of filled sandwiches and rolls and cakes (vegetarian and vegan options will be available).

  • The winners will be contacted during week commencing 14th March 2022 as per Selection Process below.

  • Prizes will be picked out at random by a computer-generated random selector. 1 winner from each of the tours on offer will be picked out and contacted via email with a winning emailed voucher giving them and a guest the opportunity to take up the offer.

  • The Winner will have 10 days from the date of the email notification to acknowledge their prize.

  • Dates for each of the tours will be listed/ emailed to the winners 30 days prior to commencement and must be selected within 20 days prior to date of tour. Selected dates will be organised at promoter’s discretion.

  • In the event that the Winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the Prize within 10 days, he/she shall forfeit the Prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to another competition entrant, who shall be selected at random from the remaining entries.

  • The Prize is not transferable to another individual. Any transfer of a prize by the Winner will result in immediate disqualification.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value to the Prize

  • The Promoter shall publish the names and counties of residence of the Winner and runners up on the OrchardWorld Consumer website after the Prizes have been awarded.

  • The winners of the Prize agree to be photographed by the Promoter for the purposes of promoting the Promotion and the Promoter’s products

  • The winners of the Prize agree to be featured on the Promoter’s website

  • The winners of the Prize will be invited to participate in other marketing and promotional activities, and they will be contacted accordingly.

  • The Winner takes part in the Prize at their own risk and to the fullest extent possible in law the Promoter accepts no liability with regard to the Prize whatsoever. The Promoter will have no liability in relation to the conduct of the Winner or their guest(s) nor in connection with any circumstances outside its control with respect to the Prize. The Winner is subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions of any and all third parties involved in the fulfilment of the Prize.

  • The Promoter reserves the rights to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the Promotion at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.

  • The winner must inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or any similar access needs.

  • The winner must be 18 years or older.

  • The winner must accept the Prize as described in point 1 above in its entirety.

  • The hotel stay must be booked 15 days prior to the associated tour date to avoid disappointment and are subject to availability.

  • The winner is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotel during their stay, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, additional nights and services together with related taxes. This includes any damages during the stay.

  • The winner must inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or any similar access needs.

  • Once booked, the Prize cannot be amended or altered.

  • The winner or their guest will be asked for a credit or debit card on check in and to cover any additional expenses incurred during their stay. Winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest whilst taking the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or guest from participation in any aspect of the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the Prize or if the winner and/or guest act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoter, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others.

DISQUALIFICATION

  • The Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to disqualify participants who it considers having not complied with any of these terms and conditions, or any participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.

  • The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims and entries including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age and other relevant details of a participant and before accepting a claim or entry as being valid.

  • All the Promoter’s decisions relating to this Promotion are final and binding. No correspondence about the Promotion will be entered into.


PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

  • If you agree to subscribe to the OrchardWorld newsletter on the Website, you opt-in to receive communications from OrchardWorld containing newsletters or other marketing communications (“Opt-in Communications”). You can change your mind at any time by ticking the unsubscribe box on any Opt-in Communication you receive from OrchardWorld.

  • Except as set out above, the Promoter will use any personal data submitted by the participant solely for the purpose of operating this Promotion and for no other purpose. To that extent, the Promoter may share such personal data with third parties involved with this Promotion. The Promoter will delete any personal data submitted by the participant after the end of the Promotion, save where the Promoter is permitted to retain it in order to comply with applicable law. A participant may exercise any of their rights under data protection law, such as requesting access to or the correction or deletion of his/her personal data, by contacting the Promoter.


JURISDICTION/APPLICABLE LAW

  • This Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By participating the participants agree that any and all disputes regarding this Promotion will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Please note - the tour will take place on a farm, with mud tracks and uneven surfaces (heels not suitable), so would not be suitable for wheelchair users or people who require aids to walk.
