TERMS & CONDITIONS

ORCHARDWORLD 'Cherry Blossom, Apple Blossom, Cherry Harvest or Apple Harvest Tour, including light refreshments upon arrival and afternoon tea for you and a guest'.
 
THE PROMOTER
The Promoter of the blossom/harvest tours is OrchardWorld LTD, 790 The Crescent, Colchester, C04 9YQ (the “Promoter”). The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this event whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
 
HOW TO BOOK & THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

  • The closing date for bookings will be up to a week before each one of the tours takes place. Entries received after the closing date will be considered dependant on space/availability.

  • No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of entries.

TOUR DATES
The tours will each have up to 19 spaces, where these reach maximum capacity a second date for the same tour will be considered.

 

  • Choose either a Blossom Tour (4th May 2023), Cherry Harvest (takes place around June/July 23) or and Apple Harvest fund day (takes place around September 2023). Light refreshments upon arrival. Collection and transport from ‘Stoke by Nayland Golf and Spa- CO6 4PZ’ to the said orchards. A guided tour around the orchards during the blossom or harvest season, together with a tour of the AD Plant, approximately lasting from 3 hours to 3.5 hours. Then transport back to the Stoke by Nayland Golf and Spa for an ‘Afternoon Tea’ served to you and your guest/s (1 x afternoon tea per guest). Free giveaway packs including some OrchardWorld samples will be given out upon leaving (Subject to availability and seasonality). Plenty of free parking available. 
    * Dates will be listed nearer the time, as they will be determined by British weather for best optimal visit time.
    ** Light refreshments upon arrival will compromise of a selection of hot and cold beverages at OrchardWorld’s discretion. Afternoon tea will be served with a selection of filled sandwiches, and rolls, cake, tea, coffee and selected soft drinks. 

  • Dates for each of the tours will be listed/ emailed to the customers 30 days prior to commencement and must be selected within 20 days prior to date of tour. Selected dates will be organised at promoter’s discretion.

  • The participants take part in the tour at their own risk and to the fullest extent possible in law the Promoter accepts no liability with regard to the tour whatsoever. The Promoter will have no liability in relation to the conduct of the tour or their guest(s) nor in connection with any circumstances outside its control with respect to the Tour. The tour is subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions of any and all third parties involved in the fulfilment of the Tour.

  • The Promoter reserves the rights to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the Tour at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.

  • The participants must inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or any similar access needs.

 

PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

 

  • If you agree to subscribe to the OrchardWorld newsletter on the Website, you opt-in to receive communications from OrchardWorld containing newsletters or other marketing communications (“Opt-in Communications”). You can change your mind at any time by ticking the unsubscribe box on any Opt-in Communication you receive from OrchardWorld.

  • Except as set out above, the Promoter will use any personal data submitted by the participant solely for the purpose of operating this event and for no other purpose. To that extent, the Promoter may share such personal data with third parties involved with this event. The Promoter will delete any personal data submitted by the participant after the end of the event, save where the Promoter is permitted to retain it in order to comply with applicable law. A participant may exercise any of their rights under data protection law, such as requesting access to or the correction or deletion of his/her personal data, by contacting the Promoter.

 

JURISDICTION/APPLICABLE LAW

  • This Tour will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By participating the participants agree that any and all disputes regarding this Tour will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Please note - the tour will take place on a farm, with mud tracks and uneven surfaces (heels are not suitable), please let us know if you have any health conditions or impairments in due course so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
