ORCHARDWORLD ENTRY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ORCHARDWORLD 'Children’s draw an OrchardWorld mascot’ competition. Main prize - £500 voucher towards an action-packed UK holiday at Uniquehideaways.com. Runners-up prize x 2 - Family annual zoo passes for either ZSL or Twycross Zoo, allowing entry to a multitude of other Zoo’s as per T&Cs below.


THE PROMOTER


The Promoter of the Children’s- Draw a Mascot competition is OrchardWorld LTD, 790 The Crescent, Colchester, C04 9YQ (the “Promoter”). The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to the competition or associated prizes whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
 
ENTRY ELIGIBILITY

• The Promotion is only open to residents of Great Britain with each child entering having an adult over the age of 18 to post the entries on their behalf. Participation in the Promotion will require internet access.

• Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of their group companies, or their families or households or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion are not eligible to enter.

 

PROMOTION START AND FINISH DATES/TIMES.

The post for the competition to start will go live from 9am on the 1st November 2022 and run through to Midnight on the 3rd January 2023 and will only be advertised on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram where there will be a URL directing you to our competition page on the OrchardWorld website orchardowroldproduce.com.

• The closing date for the competition is final and entries after this point will not be included in the random selection process.

• No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data/entries which occurs during any communication or transmission of entries.
   

HOW TO ENTER & THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

You can enter the OrchardWorld ‘Children’s ‘Draw an OrchardWorld mascot’ competition, (the “Promotion”) by following the link to our website and entering your details on our ‘Children’s Mascot Competition’ page to obtain a unique reference number then downloading/printing off the instructions/entry forms.
 

• Once submitting your details, you will receive an automatic email with a unique reference together with an attachment which can be printed off, displaying the step-by-step instructions on what is required to enter the competition.

• The purpose of the competition is to create an OrchardWorld Mascot taking into account that our brand stands for ‘Family Values’, ‘Healthy Fruit’, ‘Sustainability’, the ‘Great Outdoors’ and ‘Elements’.

• There will be three age group categories as follows:

1-5 year olds
6-10 year olds
11- 16 year old

• OrchardWorld requires all entries to be created on a ‘Plain’ A4 piece of paper.

• Please follow the guidelines below for creating the mascot:

Mascot needs to consist of any of the following, individually or combined

 

• Bee

• Lady Bird

• Butterfly

• Rabbit

• Dog

• Dragon Fly

• Orange

• Apple

• Pear

• Lemon

• Lime

 

They need to be as close to brand colours as possible, example above:

Name the character and give him a name.​​

• Once created, you can submit your entry via the follow link https://www.orchardworldproduce.com/orchardworlds-childrens-drawing-competition together with your contact details on the forms.

• This Promotion is only available to individual consumers (e.g. not to any business or reseller). If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries or votes will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void.

• No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of entries.
   

THE WINNERS AND PRIZE
 

The Main Prize shall comprise the following:

• 1 x £500 voucher* to put towards on an action-packed break/holiday of your choice with Uniquehideaways.com
   

*This voucher can be redeemed against a holiday booking with classic cottages within 24 months of the issue date. The voucher ref and personal ref are only valid when used with the tenant record of the intended recipient. This voucher is nonexchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative or substitution are available. If the holiday booking prices exceeds the amount of the voucher, the deficit must be paid by debit or credit card. All bookings are subject to Classic Cottages booking conditions which can be found on the uniquehideaways.com website. To redeem your gift voucher please either email hello@uniquehideaways.com or call 01736 230140. You must be over 18 to redeem this voucher and are subject to the standard terms and conditions.⁠ 

Runners’ up prizes include the following:

• 1 Years annual membership for a family up to value of £220.00 to a Zoo or wildlife centre of your choice/local to you.

• You will have to submit 3 choices of places you would like an annual pass for. OrchardWorld will confirm which one has been chosen.

• OrchardWorld will make payment directly to the chosen venue – instructions on this will vary from business to business so will be informed once spoken to chosen destination.

• OrchardWorld are only responsible for making payment for the annual passes, all T&Cs will have to be adhered to within that organisation. Once payment has been made for the family annual pass, this is where OrchardWorld's involvement ends and we will not accept any responsibility for anything that outside of this payment.

• The monies are not exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash equivalents will be given.

• If you choose to upgrade your tickets or exceed the £220.00 the difference will be made payable by yourself.
   

MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 

• The winner must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

• The winner must accept the Prize as described in point 1 above in its entirety.

• On or after the 4th January 2023, One drawing will be selected from each of the three age categories valid selections. The over all winner will be chosen from these 3 selections, leaving the two other selections to receive the runners up prize.

• The Winner and Runners up will be contacted on or after w/c 9/01/2023  as per the Selection Process below.

• Prize winners will be picked first, and a telephone call will be made to the winner followed by an emailed voucher.

• The Winner and Runners up will have 14 days from the date of the email notification to acknowledge their prize.

• The main prize will be dated upon agreement. 

• Runners’ up prizes will be activated by OrchardWorld and gifted to the runners-up.

• In the event that the Winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the Prize within 14 days, he/she shall forfeit the Prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to another competition entrant, who shall be selected at random from the remaining entries.

• The Prize is not transferable to another individual. Any transfer of a prize by the Winner will result in immediate disqualification.

• The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value to the Prize

• The Promoter shall publish the names and counties of residence of the Winner and runners-up on the OrchardWorld Consumer website www.orchardworldproduce.com after the Prizes have been awarded.

• The winner of the main prize agrees to be photographed by the Promoter for the purposes of promoting the Promotion and the Promoter’s products;

• The winner of the main prize agrees to be featured on the Promoter’s website https://www.orchardworldproduce.com; and

• The winner of the main prize will be invited to participate in other marketing and promotional activities and they will be contacted accordingly.

• The Winner takes part in the Prize at their own risk and to the fullest extent possible in law the Promoter accepts no liability with regard to the Prize whatsoever. The Promoter will have no liability in relation to the conduct of the Winner or their guest(s) nor in connection with any circumstances outside its control with respect to the Prize. The Winner is subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions of any and all third parties involved in the fulfilment of the Prize.

• The Promoter reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the Promotion at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.

• The winner is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred outside the listed above, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, and services together with related taxes. This includes any damages.

 
DISQUALIFICATION

• The Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to disqualify participants whom it considers have not complied with any of these terms and conditions, or any participant whom it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.

• The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims and entries including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age and other relevant details of a participant and before accepting a claim or entry as being valid.

• All the Promoter’s decisions relating to this Promotion are final and binding. No correspondence about the Promotion will be entered into.

PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

• If you agree to subscribe to the OrchardWorld newsletter on the Website, you opt-in to receive communications from OrchardWorld containing newsletters or other marketing communications (“Opt-in Communications”). You can change your mind at any time by ticking the unsubscribe box on any Opt-in Communication you receive from OrchardWorld.

• Except as set out above, the Promoter will use any personal data submitted by the participant solely for the purpose of operating this Promotion and for no other purpose. To that extent, the Promoter may share such personal data with third parties involved with this Promotion. The Promoter will delete any personal data submitted by the participant after the end of the Promotion, save where the Promoter is permitted to retain it in order to comply with applicable law. A participant may exercise any of their rights under data protection law, such as requesting access to or the correction or deletion of his/her personal data, by contacting the Promoter.

JURISDICTION/APPLICABLE LAW

• This Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By participating the participants agree that any and all disputes regarding this Promotion will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
