ORCHARDWORLD ‘Win a Cherry Blossom, Apple Blossom, Cherry Harvest or Apple Harvest Tour for 2021, including light refreshments upon arrival and afternoon tea for you and a guest’

 

Please note - Due to Covid-19 measures in place and in the interest of the health and safety of our customers and staff members, we have decided to offer these tours in 2021 as opposed to 2020.

 

You can enter the OrchardWorld ‘Win a Cherry Blossom, Apple Blossom, Cherry Harvest or Apple Harvest Tour complete with light refreshments upon arrival and afternoon tea competition’ (the “Promotion”) by entering your details on the entry form.
 
THE PROMOTER
The Promoter of this Promotion is OrchardWorld LTD, 790 The Crescent, Colchester, C04 9YQ (the “Promoter”). The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
 
ENTRY ELIGIBILITY

The Promotion is only open to residents of Great Britain aged 18 or over. Participation in the Promotion will require internet access.

HOW TO ENTER & THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES
Entries will begin from 1st September 2020 at 09:00hrs when the ‘Ocado Life’ Magazine September/ October 2020 edition goes into circulation to shoppers who have requested a free copy. Subject to availability. The URL will also be available via our Instagram and Facebook pages from the above dates.

• The closing date for entries is midnight 31st October 2020. Entries received after the closing date will not be eligible for the Promotion.

• Ocado Life Magazines are available upon request of the shopper at the time of ordering groceries online from Ocado.com only. Within the magazine you will find a ‘Full Page’ advertorial about the ‘Harvest’ at OrchardWorld. Amongst the body text there is green flash that advertises the promotion together with a URL to enter the competition.  Or simply go on to our Instagram posts or Facebook pages (using above links) which will have the URL so that you can enter. You must complete all mandatory fields. To submit your entry, click the “Submit” button. The unique website address is not accessible via the drop-down menu found on the website, and can only be found from the ‘Ocado Life’ Magazine as per details listed above and our Instagram/ Facebook pages.

• No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of entries.

 

THE WINNERS AND PRIZE
The main prize will consist of 7 places available on each of the following tours, together with the option of bringing a guest and will include the following:

 

• Choose either Cherry Blossom Tour (takes place around April 2021), Apple Blossom Tour (Takes place around May 2021), Cherry Harvest Tour (Takes place around June/July 2021), Apple Harvest tour (Takes place around September 2021). Light refreshments upon arrival. Collection and transport from ‘Stoke by Nayland Golf and Spa- CO6 4PZ’ to the said orchards. A guided tour around the orchards during the blossom or harvest season, together with a tour of the AD Plant, approximately lasting 2 hours. Then transport back to the Stoke by Nayland Golf and Spa for an ‘Afternoon Tea’ served to you and your guest (1 x afternoon tea
  per guest). Free giveaway packs including some OrchardWorld samples will be given out upon leaving (Subject to availability and seasonality). Plenty of free parking available. 

*Dates will be listed to the winners nearer the time, as they will be determined by British weather for best optimal visit time.

** Light refreshments upon arrival will compromise of a selection of hot and cold beverages at OrchardWorld’s discretion. Afternoon tea will be served with a selection of filled sandwiches, and rolls, cake, tea, coffee and selected soft drinks. 

• The winners will be contacted during week commencing 16th November 2020 as per Selection Process below.Prizes will be picked out at random by a computer-generated random selector. 7 winners from each of the tours on offer will be picked out and contacted via email with a winning emailed voucher giving them and a guest the opportunity to take up the offer.

• The Winner will have 10 days from the date of the email notification to acknowledge their prize.

• Dates for each of the tours will be listed/ emailed to the winners 30 days prior to commencement and must be selected within 20 days prior to date of tour. Selected dates will be organised at promoter’s discretion.

• In the event that the Winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the Prize within 10 days, he/she shall forfeit the Prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to another competition entrant, who shall be selected at random from the remaining entries.

• The Prize is not transferable to another individual. Any transfer of a prize by the Winner will result in immediate disqualification.

• The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value to the Prize.

• The Promoter shall publish the names and counties of residence of the Winner and runners up on the OrchardWorld Consumer website and Instagram/ Facebook after the Prizes have been awarded.

• The winners of the Prize agree to be photographed by the Promoter for the purposes of promoting the Promotion and the Promoter’s products

• The winners of the main Prize agree to be featured on the Promoter’s website and Instagram/ Facebook.

• The winners of the main Prize will be invited to participate in other marketing and promotional activities and they will be contacted accordingly.

• The Winner takes part in the Prize at their own risk and to the fullest extent possible in law the Promoter accepts no liability with regard to the Prize whatsoever. The Promoter will have no liability in relation to the conduct of the Winner or their guest(s) nor in connection with any circumstances outside its control with respect to the Prize. The Winner is subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions of any and all third parties involved in the fulfilment of the Prize.

• The Promoter reserves the rights to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the Promotion at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.

• The winner must inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or any similar access needs.

 

DISQUALIFICATION

 

• The Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to disqualify participants who it considers having not complied with any of these terms and conditions, or any participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.

• The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims and entries including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age and other relevant details of a participant and before accepting a claim or entry as being valid.

• All the Promoter’s decisions relating to this Promotion are final and binding. No correspondence about the Promotion will be entered into.

 

PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

 

• If you agree to subscribe to the OrchardWorld newsletter on the Website, you opt-in to receive communications from OrchardWorld containing newsletters or other marketing communications (“Opt-in Communications”). You can change your mind at any time by ticking the unsubscribe box on any Opt-in Communication you receive from OrchardWorld.

• Except as set out above, the Promoter will use any personal data submitted by the participant solely for the purpose of operating this Promotion and for no other purpose. To that extent, the Promoter may share such personal data with third parties involved with this Promotion. The Promoter will delete any personal data submitted by the participant after the end of the Promotion, save where the Promoter is permitted to retain it in order to comply with applicable law. A participant may exercise any of their rights under data protection law, such as requesting access to or the correction or deletion of his/her personal data, by contacting the Promoter.

 

JURISDICTION/APPLICABLE LAW

• This Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By participating the participants agree that any and all disputes regarding this Promotion will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
