OrchardWorld's Sticky Plum & Sausage Tray Bake With Adam Shaw

OrchardWorld are excited to introduce the first of our new recipes created by a professional chef, Leiths trained Adam Shaw. Adam is an award-winning cookbook writer, he also shares our values by having ‘family’ at the heart of what he does. We have teamed up with and tasked Adam to create some gorgeous recipes using our fresh produce for all the family to enjoy. Our first recipe is a ‘Sticky Plum & Sausage Tray Bake’ which is truly divine.

Serves - 4 People | Prep Time - 15 Mins | Cooking Time - 45 Mins



INGREDIENTS

6 x OrchardWorld Ready To Eat Plums - destoned and halved

12 x Pork Sausages

2 x Red Onions - quartered

200ml Chicken Stock

400g Cannellini Beans

200g Cavolo Nero

1 x bulb of garlic - top chopped off

1 tbsp Chinese 5 Spice

4 tbsp Sticky Honey

½ tsp Plain Flour

2 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar

Salt

Olive Oil



METHOD

This recipe brings these wonderful flavours together for a truly healthy and tasty dish.


1. Heat the oven to 180°c. Place the sausages, onions and garlic in a roasting tin. Drizzle with oil, season, sprinkle over the Chinese 5 spice, then roast for 20 minutes



2. Remove from the oven. Mix the flour, stock and vinegar together then pour into the tin. Pour in the cannellini beans and then arrange the plums on top. Roast for a further 20 minutes


3. Remove the tin from the oven, add the cavolo nero and drizzle some honey over the top. Cook for an other 5 minutes.
